What compelled you to join the Friends of Ski Mountain Mining History?
My growing interest in Park City’s silver mining history that started with taking a “Silver-to-Slopes” tour on Park City Mountain Resort in 2018, then many visits to the Museum on Main Street.
What I enjoy most about the Friends and the Historic Mine Route
Making Park City’s mining history stories more available and interesting to locals and visitors.
About me
BSc and MSc in Petroleum Engineering, Stanford University. Worked as an engineer and project manager for Chevron and Cenovus Energy in multiple domestic and international locations between 1983 and 2018.
Moved to Park City in 2019 and am enjoying retirement, volunteering for the Park City Historical Society & Museum, as well as working part-time as a ski instructor at Park City Mountain Resort.
