How the TravelStorys Audio Tour Works

Three ways to hike, one historic loop

The free TravelStorys app for iPhone or Android includes an interactive map listing all 24 historic sites of interest around the HMR loop — pick the mode that fits your day.

Full Loop Hike or Bike

Starts at the Park City Museum and follows the loop counterclockwise through all 24 numbered sites — the stories play in order as you hike or bike it.

Chairlift Shortcuts

Skips the strenuous uphill hike in the full loop by using a chairlift. Requires the purchase of a lift ticket from Park City Mountain Resort or a valid Epic pass.

Out and Back Hike

Can start at the Park City Museum or the Daly Trailhead. No fees involved. This is an easy uphill out and downhill back hike to historic sites in Empire Canyon and Ontario Ridge.

Click here for additional details about each hike or bike option.
