What compelled you to join the Friends of Ski Mountain Mining History?

When I first arrived in Park City, I began hiking and discovered all of these marvelous building remnants of the wild west mining history. This led me to the Park City Museum, where I found a community of interesting people who liked to share the history of the town and its relics. Once I fell in love with the structures, I knew they had to be saved and began to share time and money to save them. But it is the community that ties it all together.

What I enjoy most about the Friends and the Historic Mine Route

  1. The Silver King Mine
  2. The Silver King Mill
  3. Showing these buildings to others
  4. Telling stories about the people who built the buildings

About me

I have a BA in Economics from Northwestern University and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business. My business career included stints at Progressive Insurance, Citibank and J.P. Morgan Chase. This client-side experience led to a series of consulting assignments for various similar financial institutions. The professional focus in all of these roles was the design of online interactive services, customer experience research and related solutions.
