What compelled you to join the Friends of Ski Mountain Mining History?
Sally Elliott, community organizer and friend, invited me to join 10 years ago. My father worked in Park City as a mining engineer and was a professor of mining at University of Utah.
What I enjoy most about the Friends and the Historic Mine Route
This is the most active nonprofit I’ve joined, where every member steps up to help using their special skills.
About me
I am an artist, historian, art teacher, ski instructor, and local since 1971. I was director of Park City Museum for nine years and the concept designer for Park City Silver Mine Adventure, an underground tour for the public.
My career has been art-centric as a painter, exhibit maker, and graphic artist. My interests include hiking, camping, skiing, and painting. I have a BFA degree from the University of Utah.
